Our studdog for the A-Litter was FTCH Whitesmiths Widgeon.
Widge is a strong, black, easy to handle, reliable and liberal dog. He was trained from Jamie Bettinson and successfully shown on Field Trials. I was confinced about his friendly and brightly character at once!
Jamie and Widges biggest success was in 2011, with the Qualification at the IGL Retriever Championship and the gaining of the 5th place including a Certificat of Merit.
Widges sire FTCH Mansengreen Diesel of Birdsgreen was qualified for the IGL Retriever Championchip alltogether 4 times. Diesels sire was the very prosperous studdog NORD JCH FTW Tasco Brimstone. Diesels dam FTCh Shortthorn Ninja of Mansengreen got 2nd at the IGL Retriever Championship 2002 and was in Team England at the CLA Game fair in 2004.
Two brothers of Widges dam Opel Lady of Whitesmiths are FTCHs also (FTCh Celtic Special and FTCh Brave Noble), paternally coming out of FTCH Strad Benis, he has produced couple of FTCHs (including FTCH Levenghyl Peacock, half brother of Yumis sire Cash). Strad Benis sire FTCH Tasco Dancing Brave of Willowyck was 1st at the IGL Retriever Championship in 1990.
…just to show you some of the ancestors.
